How to Help
Anything you can give towards cancer research will help bring present benefits to current patients at Weston Park Hospital and future benefits to all people with cancer around the world. Research grants can be quite dauntingly large. Please do not let that put you off. Every penny counts and together we can (and do) make a huge difference.
- Give by standing order - a regular gift helps us plan for the future and is an efficient way of giving. Contact Us for more information.
- Give via your payroll - you can make a regular payment straight from your salary. it is one of the most tax effecient way of giving as we can directly calim back 25p in the £ (as of 6th April) from the government at no extra cost to you. Contact Us for more information.
- Make a donation - if you want your donation to go to a specific project just let us know what that project is. If you are writing a cheque please make it payable to 'Weston Park Hospital Cancer Appeal' and send it to the following address:- Weston Park Hospital Cancer appeal, Whitham Road, Sheffield S10 3TE.
- Donate online - you can use our secure justgiving site to either give us a donation or set up your own online fundraising page which you can email to all your friends & colleagues. Click here for this facility. NB Justgiving do charge a 5% facility charge on anything you collect on line.
- Organise a fundraising event - put the fun into fundraising . Download our free fundraising pack full of hints and tips or if you want to speak to one of the fundraisers in our office just contact us - we are here to help you.
- Run for Research - we have a new running pack to encourage all our great supporters who like to run and raise money for the Cancer Appeal at the same time. We can supply you with Weston Park Hospital Cancer Appeal running vests and give you lots of hint s and tips for getting sponsorship. Contact Us for a running pack.
- Buy/Sell Our Trolley Tokens - these are popular little tokens - just the right size to fit into your shopping trolley. They come on a handy keyring so you always have one with you when you need it. Just £1, just the job. Contact Us for more information.
- Challenge yourself - we have regular Skydiving, White-water rafting, and abseiling events you can join in with. New for 2008 as well is an organised Trek in Peru at the end of the year and an organised cycle Ride from London to Paris during early summer. Contact Us if you would like to know more.
